IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Neil Patrick
Tinker, Sr.
January 5, 1974 – April 15, 2024
Neil Tinker, Sr. 50, of White River Junction died on April 15, 2024, at his home with his wife by his side.
Neil was born January 5, 1974, in Weymouth, Massachusetts to Neil Tinker and Joyce Anderson. Neil was a jack of all trades from mechanic, truck driver, herdsmen to cooking in the kitchen. He loved to share his skills with anyone who was willing to learn. Watching someone do something that Neil taught them brought him great pride. Neil was always known for helping others work on things.
He greatly enjoyed riding his motorcycle, enjoying time on and off the road with his buddies no matter what the weather was. Known as "Tink" or "Uncle" he was always glad to be around people he loved. He enjoyed many memorable parties over the years, especially with his (Biker) friends. Neil was never far from his wife Hallie, whom he had shared his life with for the past 32 years. They were always together either on the motorcycle, working on cars, cooking in the kitchen, or just sitting with the family. Neil was always willing to give someone the shirt off his back if they needed it. He and Hallie were glad to open their home to any friend that needed a place to stay or just a hot meal. Neil was so proud of his children for all their accomplishments, things that he was never able to do. Not only did he have his own 3 children, but he seemed to always have everyone else's as well, but he wouldn't have wanted it any other way!
He is survived by his wife, Hallie Fortune-Tinker, and his children, Neil Tinker, Jr., and his fiancé, Jasmine, Ryan Fortune and his girlfriend, Madison, Shannon Tinker, and her boyfriend, RJ, and his grandson, Kalvin Tinker. He also leaves behind his sister, Heather Guy, and two brothers that he never had the pleasure of meeting, Chris Tinker and Matthew Tinker. Many nieces, nephews, neighbors, friends and other relatives and his beloved dogs, Jax and Stewie.
He is predeceased by his mother, Joyce Shay, father, Neil Tinker, a brother, Cameron Tinker and sister, Courtney Tinker, who he never had the pleasure of meeting.
A celebration of life will be held at the Wilder Picnic Area at 1pm on June 1, 2024. We will have a small BBQ and share all the great memories had with Neil.
Knight Funeral home was entrusted with arrangements. Condolences may be expressed in an online guestbook found at www.knightfuneralhomes.com
