East Thetford, VT – Nathan Alexander Stanley, our cherished son and brother, died unexpectedly on Monday, May 12, 2025, at the age of 19. Nathan was the second child, and only boy, born to Todd and Michelle (Allen) Stanley on October 17, 2005. His older sister, Lauren, welcomed him with open arms and the family was completed with his two younger sisters, McKayla and Miranda.

Nathan was smart, artistic, and creative. He taught himself to play piano and excelled in woodworking, creating signs, pens, a guitar, and many other pieces for family, friends, and himself. He had a talent for working on engines and enjoyed working on his Ford F250 Superduty truck. Nearly every day, he played X Box with his sisters or friends. He never passed up an opportunity to enjoy his favorite cookies, chocolate crinkles, and a tall glass of milk.

Nathan was an avid outdoorsman whose favorite pastime was fishing for bass on the Connecticut river. Whether solo or with family and friends, he went as often as he could. From an early age and throughout his life, he enjoyed hunting with his dad.

He is survived by his parents, Todd and Michelle of East Thetford; his sisters, Lauren Tillotson and fiancé Neil Howard of White River Junction, VT, and McKayla and Miranda Stanley, both of East Thetford; his paternal grandfather, Jerry Stanley of White River Junction; maternal grandfather, Tim Allen of Wilder, VT; maternal grandmother, Brenda Tufts of South Royalton, VT; other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Sherry Stanley.
