Nancy J. Sheerman, 77, a resident of Unity and formerly of Windsor, passed away Sunday afternoon, April 3 at the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH.
She was born March 16, 1939 in Windsor the daughter of Frank and Gladys (Williams) Harris. She attended Windsor schools. She married Bennett H. Sheerman in Claremont, NH on September 3, 1983. She was employed at the former Goodyear and Tire Rubber Company in Windsor for several years until the plant closed in September of 1987. Nancy was fond of cooking and loved her cats. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family.
She was predeceased by her parents, five brothers, Frank, Norman, Robert, Harold and Richard Harris and by four sisters, Beverly Harris, Evelyn Harris, Doris Paronto and Elizabeth "Betty" Shaw.
Survivors include her husband, Bennett H. Sheerman, one son, Christopher Sheerman, both of Unity, NH, two sisters, Carol DuBois of Windsor and Mary Place of Lake Havasu City, AZ, many nieces and nephews.
At Mrs. Sheerman's request there will be no formal services. She asked for prayers or to have a Mass said in her name.
The Knight Funeral Home in Windsor is entrusted with the arrangements.
