Nancy M. Husband

Windsor, VT – Nancy M. Husband, 92, died Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at her home in Windsor.

Nancy was born December 10, 1933, in Lebanon, NH, a daughter of Levi and Lillian (Allard) Bashaw. She graduated from Lebanon High School in 1951 and was married to Robert R. Husband on August 1, 1953, in Lebanon, NH.

Nancy worked at the Cross Abbott Store, Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company for 15 years, and Vermont National Bank for 11 years. She later served the Town of Windsor as Treasurer for 15 years and Assistant Treasurer for 17 years before retiring.

She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church in Windsor, as well as a member of the Windsor American Legion Auxiliary and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary. Nancy also served as treasurer for the Salvation Army.

Nancy is preceded in death by her husband, Robert R. Husband and a brother, Alfred Bashaw. She is survived by two sons, Robert P. Husband of Hartland, VT and Thomas C. Husband and his wife, Diane of Phoenix, AZ, a brother, Paul Bashaw of San Jose, CA, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held from 4-6pm on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at Knight Funeral Home in Windsor. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11am on Thursday the 30th at St. Francis of Assisi Church in Windsor. Burial will be held at 11am on Friday, May 1st in the St. Francis Cemetery.
