White River Jct., VT – Nancy Lee Harrison, 70, died in the early morning hours of Tuesday, October 4, at the Jack Byrne Center for Palliative and Hospice Care in Lebanon, NH.  She was born February 15, 1952 in Windsor, VT the daughter of Hazen and Marie (Napsey) Holmes and grew up in Hartland, VT.   Nancy graduated from Windsor High School and attended college for a short time.   She became very ill in her twenties and was disabled.

She was married to Donald E. Harrison.  They were later divorced.

Nancy absolutely loved animals especially cats, of which she had several.  She considered them her children and treated them as such.

She was a member of the Bugbee Senior Center in White River Jct., VT.  Nancy lived life on her own terms and will always be remembered as a "force of nature".

She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer French and her husband, Nathan of Enfield, NH, two brothers, Randy Holmes of Windsor, VT, Dale Holmes of the United Kingdom, sister Sandra Teeter of Barre, VT, as well as several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held the same day as a wedding celebration for Jennifer and Nathan, at noon, Saturday, October 22, 2022.
