Norwich, VT- Nancy B. Clark, 87, died Sunday, April 13, 2014 at the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH.

She was born September 15, 1926 in Northampton, MA, the daughter of Charles and Martha (Adams) Thomas. Nancy graduated from Commerce High School in Springfield, MA class of 1945. She was married to Edward N. Clark March 30, 1946 in Springfield. She worked as the manager of the cafeteria at Wilbraham Junior High School for 17 years. They moved to Norwich in 1978.

She was a former member of the Timothy Frost Methodist Church, University Grange # 335 Norwich, and a fifty year member of the Rebeka's Fidelity Lodge. Nancy was a member of the United Church of Thetford in Thetford and sang in the choir. She was known at the Haven as the Hat Lady because of her numerous donations of handmade hats she made over the years and was a charter member of the CCBA and would swim there three times a week.

She is survived by her husband of 68 years Edward N. Clark of Norwich, a daughter Phyllis Hiltpold of Longmeadow, MA, three sons Robert E. Clark of Thetford, VT, Donald T Clark of Wilbraham, MA and Kenneth M Clark of Ft Myers, FL, six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 10, 2014 at the United Church of Thetford at 2:00PM. Burial in the Vermont Veterans Memorial Cemetery will be held at the convenience of the family.

The Knight Funeral Home in White River Junction has assisted with arrangements.
