Milton F. Gaffney
Rochester, MN – Milton F. Gaffney, 67, formerly of West Hartford, VT, passed away peacefully May 9, 2015 in Rochester, MN following a battle with pancreatic cancer.
He was born September 10, 1947 in Hanover, NH a son of Milton S and Dorothy (Chamberlin) Gaffney. Milton attended school in Woodstock, VT and later graduated from the Vermont Police Academy. He served as a police officer in Hartford for 17 years, in Windsor for 6 years and then for the Windsor and Orleans County Sheriff's Department. Milton was married to Linda Smith, August 21, 1982 and has been living in Minnesota for the past decade.
He was predeceased by his parents and a sister Betty Stetson.
He leaves his children, Jason Gaffney of Quechee, VT and Diane Lahman and her husband Tom of Key West, FL; six grandchildren; a sister Sandra Kenison and her husband Goose of West Lebanon, NH; a brother Wallace Chamberlin and his wife Barb of Woodstock, VT and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held in the West Hartford Cemetery July 25th at 11:30AM
