Windsor, VT- Michael S. Young, died unexpectedly at his home on February 7, 2025, at the age of 34.

Michael was born on March 13, 1990, the son of Richard Kelly Young and Jackie (Varney) Young. He grew up in Windsor alongside his brother, Matthew. Michael, who lived with a disability, was cared for with dedication and love by his parents throughout his life.

Michael had a special bond with his grandparents in Hartland, where he enjoyed leisurely walks around their home, savoring the quiet moments and peaceful surroundings. He had a deep love for the simple pleasures in life, especially movies. Michael enjoyed trips to the movie theater, watching films at home, and reading about celebrities. His passion for films extended to his creative ambitions, and he shared of being in the process of writing a movie, a dream that reflected his imaginative spirit and love for storytelling.

Michael was predeceased by his father, Richard Kelly Young in 2022. Michael's mother, Jackie Young died on February 16, 2025.

He is survived by his brother, Matthew, his grandmother, Carol Varney of Fort Myers, FL, his aunt, Judith Meunier (Richard) also of Fort Myers, and an uncle, Joseph Varney (Carrie) of Thetford, VT.
