Michael J. Hayward Jr.

Sunapee, NH - Michael J. Hayward, 42, was found in Hartland, VT on Wednesday April 16 ^th after having been missing since February.

He was born October 27, 1971 in New London, NH a son of Michael and Alison (Odell) Hayward. After graduating from Kearsarge Regional High School in 1990 he attended the University of New Hampshire, where he earned his Bachelors Degree in English in 1994. After college he began working with his family at MJ Hayward Mechanical in West Lebanon where he was currently serving as Vice President.

Mike was married to Kimberlee Valentine October 26, 2007. They have been living in Sunapee, NH where he loved spending time as a family with his four year old son, Garrett and his Wiemaraners, Lula Mae and Mila Mae.

He is remembered by all as being very personable, he enjoyed his relationships with his extended family, friends and business associates. He also enjoyed watching his favorite New England sports teams, listening to the music of Bob Dylan and The Band and skiing at the former King Ridge Ski Area.

Mike was a 32 ^nd Degree Mason, a member of King Solomon's Lodge No. 14, Free & Accepted Masons in Elkins, NH.

He leaves his wife, Kimberlee and son Garrett of Sunapee; his parents Michael and Alison Hayward of Grantham, NH; a brother Justin Hayward also of Grantham as well as a nephew Jacob Hayward and niece Makenzie Hayward-Harte. Mike was especially close to his in-laws including his mother and father-in-law Brad and Marisue Valentine of West Lebanon; brother-in-law Erik Valentine and his wife Krystin of Norwich and sister-in-law Kellie Valentine of Lebanon.

A memorial service will be held at the Knight Funeral Home in White River Jct. on Saturday April 19 ^th at 1PM.
