WINDSOR, VERMONT-

Michael Roland Fournier, 62, died Friday, November 26, 2010 at The Mt. Ascutney Hospital in Windsor, VT.

He was born October 14, 1948 in Barre, VT, the son of Alfred and Theresa (Marcotte) Fournier. He attended the Williams Town Schools and Graduated from Spaulding High School in Barre, VT in 1967. He married Dale (Miller) Currier October 29, 1988 and has resided in Windsor for the past fifteen years.

Michael owned and operated a monument drafting & design company for years. He enjoyed woodworking, hunting, traveling, riding his Harley playing pool, and caring for his two beloved animals. He truly loved life to the fullest.

He is predeceased by his parents, a sister, Arlene Camire, and a grandchild.

He is survived by: his wife of Windsor; his children Mark and wife Jamie Fournier, Trina and husband Joel DeLary all of Northfield, VT Donald Fournier of Burlington, VT, Michelle and husband Henry Leslie of Riverton, VT Danille and husband Mathew Howes of Middlebury, VT; fourteen grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; brothers: Robert Fournier of Ocala, FL, Paul and Wife Ann Fournier of the Villages, FL, Richard and wife Cheryl Fournier of Barre, VT, Joseph Albert and wife Yvette of Southport, NC, Alfred Fournier Jr. of Maryland; a sister, Gertrud Coy of Bakersfield, CA and 57 nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family. Knight Funeral Home in Windsor assisted with arrangements.
