Hartford, VT – Maureen E. DeCoff, 70, died Friday September 11, 2015 at Lebanon Center Genesis Eldercare.
She was born March 23, 1945 in Chelmsford, MA one of seven children to Richard and Ursula (Farrell) Sullivan. Maureen married Dennis E. DeCoff, Sr. February 29, 1964 and they have lived in Hartford since. After her family was grown, Mo got her drivers' license, earned her GED and was certified as an LNA. She worked for ten years at Hanover Terrace and at Lebanon Center Genesis since 2009.
Mo enjoyed family time, especially time with her children and grandchildren as well as hosting the DeCoff family Christmas Party each year. She also enjoyed playing poker with her friends, being with her dogs and working around the house, especially her flower gardens.
She is survived by her husband of fifty one years, Dennis, of Hartford, a son Denny DeCoff of Middlebury, VT and a daughter Lori Avery of Wilder; five grandchildren, Thomas, Matthew & Kristopher DeCoff and Josh and Jensen Avery.
Friends may call at the Knight Funeral Home in White River Jct., VT on Monday September 14th from 6-8PM. A memorial service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday September 15th at 10AM.
