Matthew L. Tripp
Quechee, VT – Matthew L. Tripp, 24, died unexpectedly Friday November 13, 2015 at home in Quechee.
Matt was born January 15, 1991 a son of Stephen and Debra (Bellavance) Tripp in Lebanon, NH. He attended school in Quechee, where he has lived all of his life, and graduated from Hartford High School class of 2009. He began working with his father at Groundskeepers when he was 15 and they have worked together since. Clients and coworkers often commented on what a hard worker Matt was as well as the quality of his work.
Matt loved being outdoors, he was an avid skier and fisherman and also enjoyed hiking. He was also an animal lover and especially loved his dog, Alyse.
He was predeceased by his sister, Corrie Reed and his paternal grandfather William Tripp.
He leaves his mother, Debra Bellavance-Tripp of Quechee; father Stephen Tripp of Lebanon; sisters Cara Larocque of Canaan, NH and Stephanie Tripp of Hanover, NH; nephew Brody Lessard and niece Leah Larocque; maternal grandparents Roland and Barbara Bellavance of Wilder, VT; paternal grandmother Theresa Tripp of Lebanon, NH as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visiting hours will be held at the Knight Funeral Home in White River Jct. Tuesday November 17th from 6-8PM.
