Marygrace Benjamin

Thetford Center, VT - Marygrace Benjamin, 57, died peacefully on Sunday, July 5, 2026, surrounded by her family at the Jack Byrne Center for Palliative Care in Lebanon, NH.

She was born August 9, 1968, in Middletown, CT and grew up in Thetford Center, VT. Marygrace attended schools in Thetford and worked in and around the Upper Valley as a caregiver for most of her life.

Marygrace had a very spiritual soul; crystals, gems and all types of rocks all had deep meaning for her. She was always willing to help anyone in need and often took strangers into her home to help them get back on their feet. She loved being outdoors, especially time gardening, birdwatching or being close to animals.

Marygrace was predeceased by her father, William Goodale and is survived by her mother, Mary Ann (Bailey) Goodale; a son, Dylan Goodale his wife, Courtney, and their children, Landon and Asher all of Piermont, NH as well as a son, Wyatt Lescord, a daughter, Sydneygrace Lescord and their father, Brian Lescord all of Bellows Falls, VT; sisters, Tracey White of South Woodstock, VT, Kelly Hodge of Vershire, VT, Troi Ulman of West Fairlee, VT, and Suzette Barbour of East Corinth, VT; a brother, Calvin Benjamin of South Strafford, VT and many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held in the Sawnee Bean Cemetery in Thetford Center on Sunday, July 19th at 11AM.
