Mary C Orizzonto, 91, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 4, 2017 at Cedar Hill in Windsor, Vermont with her family by her side.

Mary was born September 24, 1926 the last child of 13 children born to Luigi and Juliette (DeLaurie) Orizzonto of White River Junction, Vermont. Mary graduated from Hartford High School in Vermont. Following her high school graduation, Mary was employed by the New England Telephone and Telegraph Company in White River Junction, Vermont. As the company changed names, Mary continued walking each day to the same building as a supervisor until her retirement from AT&T in 1990. When Mary retired from the AT&T she received the perfect attendance award for 45 years.

Mary enjoyed traveling with friends by train to NYC to see live performances and to Philadelphia to visit her sister.

Mary's sense of humor was felt by everyone she met. Her smile was contagious, she would light up the room whenever someone entered.

Mary was predeceased by her parents, her brothers Josef who passed at 8 months, Louis, John, Anthony, Michael, Joseph. Her sisters Assumta who passed as a baby, Johanna who passed during the 1919 flu epidemic, Josephine Perrotta, Johanna Moriarty, Rosemary Orizzonto and her nephew Alfred Perrotta.

Mary is survived by her brother; Alfonzo Orizzonto of Windsor, many nieces, great nieces and great great nieces, her nephew, great nephews and great great nephews. Mary would like to thank Cedar Hill Administration and Staff in Windsor, for all the loving care given to her and her brother while living in the Assisted Living Facility and for Patti O'Shea who was her caretaker for many years.

Visiting hours will be held Thursday, November 9, 2017 from 6 pm to 8 pm at the Knight Funeral Home in White River Junction. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am on Friday November 10, 2017 at St. Anthony's Church in White River Junction with burial following at Mount Olivet Cemetery.
