Mary (Leonard) Johnson, 90, of White River Junction, VT died peacefully on Sunday, January 30, 2022.  She was born on February 14, 1931 in West Lebanon, NH, the daughter of Harry and Harriet (Soule) Leonard. She attended school in West Lebanon, NH graduating  in 1949.

On December 6, 1952 she married F. Conrad Johnson Jr. of White River Junction. They divorced in 1972. He died in 2003.

She was a long-time member and a past president of the West Lebanon Alumni Association and was a past president of the Hartford Emblem Club.

She is survived by her daughters, Ellen Kozak (Donald) of Fort Myers Beach, FL, Lynn Wong (Chris) of White River Jct, VT, Kelly Galbreath (Dan) of Denver, CO, Karol Bell (Chad) of White River Jct., VT; nine grandchildren, Amanda Rochette, Paul Meagher Jr., Alex and Ben Kozak, Maisie, Max, and Mick Wong, Troy Bell. She was preceded in death by grandson Seth Bell in 2020.

She was the great grandmother of six: Ryan, Jack, Samuel, Justiss, Juri, and Lucy.

Our Mother was a caring, loving dispenser of wise advice. She worked hard her entire life and was a devoted Mom and Gram. She loved and supported us all unconditionally. She was loved beyond words and will be missed beyond measure.

A service will be planned for June.
