Mary Ann Blickarz

Wilder, VT – Mary Ann Blickarz, 65, died Sunday October 19, 2014 at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH, after battling a long illness.

She was born November 4, 1948 in Hanover, NH a daughter of Richard and Pauline (Gee) Rosenbeck. Mary Ann attended schools in Wilder, where she lived all of her life, and graduated from Hartford High School and later from Castleton State College. She taught in the Hartford School District for 16 years before beginning an in home day care, Merry Hands Daycare, which she operated for 27 years.

Mary Ann was an avid Boston Celtics fan and enjoyed reading and cooking, but most of all loved time with her family, especially her granddaughters.

She is survived by her husband of forty three years, Mike Blickarz of Wilder; two daughters, Courtney Blickarz of Wilder and Catie Perreault and her husband Roger of Oxford, MA; two sisters, Linda Trenholm and her husband Larry of Franklin, ME and Cathy Cole and her husband Bill of Windsor, VT; a brother Richard Rosenbeck II and his wife Michelle of Wilder; sister-in-law Mary Margaret Blickarz of East Windsor, NJ; nieces, Roseanne Labi of East Windsor, NJ and Amanda Grainger of Wilder and a nephew Richard Rosenbeck III also of Wilder.

A visitation will be held at the Knight Funeral Home in White River Jct., VT on Wednesday October 22nd from 6-8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Anthony's Church in White River Jct. on Thursday October 23rd at 1PM with burial following in the Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
