East Thetford, VT- Martha "Mardi" Phelps, 74, died Saturday, September 11,2021 at the Jack Byrne Center at DHMC in Lebanon, NH.

Mardi was born September 25,1946 in Staten Island, NY a daughter of Edward and Nancy (Roemer) Davenport. She Graduated from Framingham High School class of 1964. Mardi married Douglas Phelps December 29, 1977 on Thetford Hill in Thetford, VT, they made their home in East Thetford, VT.

She enjoyed the ocean and traveling.  Mardi adored her 3 granddaughters.

Martha is predeceased by her father Edward Davenport, mother Nancy Nash, step father Harry Nash and step mother Millie Davenport, brothers Theodore Davenport and Ralph Nash, father in law Donald Phelps and brother in law Kenneth Phelps.

She is Survived by her beloved husband Douglas Phelps of East Thetford, VT; four sons James Arnold (Lisa) of W Hartford, VT, David Arnold of Sheldon, VT, Matthew Arnold of Enfield, CT and Douglas Phelps (Amanda Wotton) of Quechee, VT.  Granddaughters Daisy and Lily Phelps and Makenzie Arnold. Sister Lynda Oliver and brother Daniel (Linda) Nash.  Mother in law Phyllis Phelps, brother in law David (Yana) Phelps, 5 nieces and 8 nephews as well as very dear friends Irene Bills, Tena Phelps & Darcy Husson.

There will be no calling hours or services at Mardi's request.  The family would like to request that anyone who wishes to, to make a donation to The Jack Byrne Center or Bayada Hospice in Mardi's name.
