White River Jct., VT – Marsha Lynn Farris, 55, passed away Sunday evening, February 17, at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH surrounded by her family after her year long battle with lung cancer.
She was born July 21, 1957 the daughter of Thomas and Beverly (Barbour) Thibodeau and grew up in Hartford where she graduated from Hartford High School. Marsha worked as a waitress at several different restaurants in the Upper Valley area but mostly at the 4-Aces Diner in West Lebanon, NH and the Polka-Dot Restaurant in downtown White River Jct., VT.
Her greatest joy in life was her grandchildren, she also enjoyed camping, knitting and "living it up" with close friends and family.
She is loved and greatly missed by her devoted husband of twenty-seven years, Sherman "Sherm" Farris of White River Jct., VT, her daughter, Ashley Farris of White River Jct., VT, her son, Shawn Thibodeau and his wife Jennifer of Hartland, VT,. six grandchildren; Amber (14) Jasmine (12) Kyra (5) Tucker (3) Jaden (3) and Gabrielle (1), her parents, Beverly and Thomas Thibodeau of White River Jct., VT, sister, Wendy Luce and her husband Clayton of White River Jct., VT, brothers Thomas Thibodeau Jr. of White River Jct., Timothy Thibodeau of Hartford, VT. Marsha will also be greatly missed by her many nieces and nephews, Aunts, Uncles and cousins.
It was Marsha's specific request there be no service
