White River Jct., VT – Mark E. Shaw, 84, died Saturday July 16th at home with his family in White River Jct.
He was born November 15, 1926 in Lyndon, VT a son of William and Lois (Hinton) Shaw. Mark was married to Mary Pelletier March 9, 1959 in Manchester, CT. They lived most of their married lives in the Northeast Kingdom, where Mark worked at various jobs including as a boiler operator at Ethan Allen in Orleans for 16 years, retiring in 1992. They have lived in the Upper Valley for the past five years, most recently in White River Jct.
He is survived by his wife of 52 Years, Mary J. Shaw of White River Jct.; their children Mark E. Shaw Jr. of Newport, VT, Jeffrey J. Shaw of White River Jct., Susan M. Hutchinson of Springfield, VT, Steven M. Shaw of Newbury, VT, Linda Chase of Brownington, VT, Edwin M. Shaw of Newport, VT and Joyce Ward of Orlando, FL as well as several grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
There will be no visiting hours or services at this time.
