IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Mark A.
Nott
August 22, 1967 – March 21, 2022
Bradford, VT – It is with great sadness that the family of Mark A. Nott, 54, announces his sudden passing on Monday, March 21, 2022 at the Dartmouth Hitchcock Emergency Department.
He was born August 22, 1967, in Lebanon, NH the son of Lenroy F. Nott, Jr. and Ann Parker Cadwell. Mark grew up in the Dothan District of Hartford, VT and graduated from Hartford High School class of 1985. He began his career as an autobody technician shortly after graduation and worked for several auto body shops in the Upper Valley. His longest employment was at JAS Autobody and Collision Works both located in White River Junction.
Mark was truly one of kind: funny, hardworking, competitive, intense, and generous, full of hell, always looking for a good time and living each day as if it was his last.
He loved his family and friends dearly and will be missed by all. "He loved hard" is how one of his daughters described it.
Mark loved to drive and do it only one way: FAST. Dirt bikes, snowmobiles, three and four wheelers, from the age of 12 right up until his death, if it had a motor, just give him the keys.
For several years Mark excelled at competitive archery and other shooting sports. Over the last couple of years he got into barrel racing with his horse, Buster, who he loved dearly. He loved to hunt especially trips to Maine and out to Montana, where he hunted with his dad: turkey hunting in the spring, camping in the summer, deer hunting in the fall and cold Bud Light all year around.
Mark was predeceased by his father, Lenny, who died January 14, 2019.
He is survived by three daughters, Jessica Nott and her partner Randy, of Hartland, VT, Kelsey Nott and her partner, Jacob, of Woodstock, VT, Kristen Nott of Hartland, VT; six grandchildren: Jace, Hayley, Grace, Ava, Bennett and Kane; his sister, Michelle Tuthill and her husband, Mike of White River Jct.; his mother and step-dad, Ann and Floyd Cadwell of Thetford Center, VT.; his paternal grandmother, June Nott of White River Jct.; three nephews, Justin Nott, Tyler Tuthill, Tanner Tuthill; as well as uncles, aunts, and cousins.
