Windsor, Vermont – Mark Anthony DeLeon, 55, died Thursday morning, January 5, 2017 at the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH. He was born September 5, 1961 in Milford Delaware the son of Pedro and Sylvia (Hughes) DeLeon.
He grew up in Georgetown, DE and graduated from the Sussex High School in Georgetown. Mark worked in several different fields in construction, custodial and later in transportation as a truck driver. He was married to Marylyn Cowdrey in 2002 in Windsor, VT where they made their home. He has worked as a custodian for over ten years at the Claremont Walmart.
Mrs. DeLeon died in 2012.
Mark enjoyed hunting and fishing especially at Everetts Pond in Windsor, VT also with his sister and brother-in-law in Delaware clamming, crabbing, and fishing.
He was an avid NASCAR fan and Jeff Gordon supporter. Mark especially loved spending time with his grandson, Devon.
He is survived by his mother Sylvia DeLeon of Millsbor, DE, a sister, Elaina Waggner of Bethel, DE, a brother, Brian DeLeon of Georgetown, DE, a grandson, Devon Campney of Windsor and a daughter-in-law, Zabrina Campney of Windsor, VT as well as several nieces and nephews.
