White River Jct., VT - Marion M. Johnson, 77 died at home Friday March 18th surrounded by her loving family.
She was born January 4, 1934 in Brooklyn, NY, the daughter of Carmelo and Mary (Impastado) Maneggio. She met a sailor serving in at the Brooklyn Naval Yard, from Hartford, VT, John Johnson Jr., her husband of 57 years. Marion started working for AT&T in New York City in 1950 and continued working for them when she moved to White River Jct. until her retirement in 1990. Marion & Husband John operated the Pleasant View Motel.
She is survived by her husband John, daughter Sharon Noble, sons John, Mark & Alan Johnson. She was blessed with and a blessing to 13 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
Visiting hours will be Thursday March 24 from 4 pm to 8 pm at Knight Funeral Home in White River Jct. A funeral service will be at 10 am Monday March 28th also at Knight Funeral Home with a gathering of family & friends to follow.
