Marian S. "Hoppy" Gagliardi, formerly of Larchmont, NY, died peacefully at age 96 at the Cedar Hill Health Care Center in Windsor, VT on September 16th, 2018. Hoppy was born in Pittsburgh, PA. She graduated from Dana Hall School in Wellesley, MA and Finch Jr. College in Manhattan. Hoppy was predeceased by her husband, the Honorable Lee P. Gagliardi, who served as a US Federal Judge in the Southern and Northern Districts of New York. She was also predeceased by her youngest daughter, Marian S. "Marni" Gagliardi. Survivors include her daughter, Elisabeth Tobin and her husband, Charles of Grantham, NH, four grandchildren whom she adored; Christopher Tobin and his wife, Icon of West Hills, CA, Keith Tobin and his fiance, Kristy of Goffstown, NH, Katherine Thornton and her husband, Matthew of Averill Park, NY and Timothy Tobin and his wife, Lauren of Milford, CT, five great-grandchildren whom she cherished; Francesca, Lilian and Blair Thornton, and Elisabeth and Ryan Tobin and many nieces and nephews. Services will be private for her family at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne, NY. Donations in Hoppy's memory may be made to the charity of one's choice.
