Maria G. "Lupe" Lopez, 74, died Saturday, July 29, 2023, at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH.

She was born June 27, 1949, in Nayarit, Mexico and moved to the United States with her family at the age of 12. Lupe ran track and played baseball as a young girl and enjoyed watching baseball all of her life, especially the Oakland A's. She was married to Reyes Lopez in Mocorito, Sinaloa on December 30, 1972, and they lived in Bakersfield, CA for most of their married lives. After Mr. Lopez died in 2021, after nearly 50 years of marriage, Lupe moved to Vermont to be near her daughter and grandchildren.

Mrs. Lopez enjoyed gardening, watching crime shows, telenovelas and the Oakland A's.

She is survived by her daughter, Anel Sirois, and husband, Benjamin, of Hartland as well as a son, John Lopez; two granddaughters, Izabelle and Ileana Sirois, and her best friend of over thirty years, Julia Villanueva, of Lamont, CA.
