Newport Center, VT- Margaret "Peggy" Edwards, 56, died Friday, June 22, 2018 at the Jack Byrne Center for Palliative and Hospice Care in Lebanon, NH after a long battle with leukemia.

Peggy was born March 24, 1962 in North Tarrytown, NY a daughter of John E. Tobin Jr. and Frances P. (Rotella) Tobin. She grew up in Ossining and graduated from Ossining High School Class of 1980. She went on to study at the Natural Gourmet Cookery School, NY. Peggy was a devoted Jehovah's Witness and loved sharing her faith in the field ministry. She was a Vegan Chef and enjoyed sharing her passion for being a Vegan with all. She was married to Raymond J. Edwards Jr., September 23, 2000. She was able to fulfill a life long dream starting and operating the Dandelion & Clay Organic Farm in Newport Center, Vermont.  Peggy especially loved her animals.

Peggy is predeceased by her parents John and Frances Tobin.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Raymond J. Edwards, Jr. of Newport Center ; siblings, Carol Duffy and her husband William of Milford, CT, James Tobin and his wife Christine of Buchanan, NY, John Tobin and his wife Cathleen of Ossining, NY, Kevin Tobin of Winter Haven, FL, and Arlene Shoemaker and her husband Joel of West Haven, CT; and numerous nieces and nephews.
