WINDSOR, VT
Margaret M. Millan, 93, a longtime resident of Windsor, passed away Sunday morning, September 25, at the Mt. Ascutney Hospital Skilled Nursing Facility in Windsor.
She was born March 3, 1918 in Fullerton, Pennsylvania the daughter of John and Mary Hudsco. She received her schooling in Pennsylvania and was employed at a sewing factory until moving to Windsor in the early 1960's. Margaret enjoyed crocheting, sewing, making doll clothes and doing jigsaw puzzles. She attended St. Francis of Assisi Church in Windsor. She was especially fond of spending time with her family.
She was predeceased by her parents, six brothers and six sisters.
Survivors include one daughter, Eleanor Short of Windsor, two granddaughters, Lisa Wallen of Newbury, NH and Tina Wakefield of Windsor, four great grandchildren, Joshua Vitagliano, Tabitha Wakefield, Kyle Wakefield and Brett Wallen, one brother, John and one sister, Rosie, both of Pennsylvania, several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, October 1 at 2:00 PM in the family lot in the Ascutney Cemetery in Windsor. Memorial contributions may be made to the Upper Valley Humane Society at 300 Old Route 10, Enfield, NH 03748.
The Knight Funeral Home in Windsor is entrusted with the arrangements.
