White River Jct., Vermont – Margaret Scheu Marcon, 85 passed away Friday, January 15, 2016, at Valley Terrace in Wilder, VT. She was born in Queens, NY on January 15, 1931 the daughter of Andrew and Elizabeth (Fields) Scheu.

Marge worked as a pediatric nurse after training at Grasslands School of Practical Nursing (currently Westchester Medical Center).

She moved to Yorktown, NY in 1953 where she raised her four children Douglas, Susan, Karen and Jean. While in Yorktown she was a member of the Yorktown Heights Engine Co#1 Women's Auxiliary and a volunteer in the Yorktown Volunteer Ambulance Corps.

In 1977 she married William A. Marcon and moved to Heritage Hills in Somers, NY where they lived until moving to Quechee, VT in 1995. Marge served as Treasurer of the Quechee Garden Club while living in Fairway Village.

Marge was predeceased by two brothers, George and Andrew, two sisters, Patricia and Barbara and a daughter, Karen Yiambilis.

She is survived by her husband, William A. Marcon, two sisters Nancy Csakany; Jane Prescott and her husband Fred, her son Douglas Owens and his wife Donna, two daughters, Susan Van Nooy and Jean Klaus and her husband David, a step daughter Linda Davis and her husband Tom, 10 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren.

The Knight Funeral Home in White River Jct., Vermont is assisting with arrangements.
