ASCUTNEY, VT
Margaret V. Goad, 83, a former resident of Ascutney, passed away Saturday, January 21 at the Springfield Health and Rehabilitation Center in Springfield.
She was born September 13, 1933 in Windsor, VT. Mrs. Goad was a longtime caregiver, first at her home in Ascutney and more recently owned and operated the Carmel Care Home in Springfield for several years. She was fond of fishing and hunting and especially enjoyed spending time with her family.
She was predeceased by her husband, Carlton Goad and by two brothers, Buster Runnells and Lester Runnells.
Survivors include one daughter, Janet Tarrien and her husband, Joseph of Ascutney, several grandchildren, including Shaun Aldridge and Hailey Aldridge, both of Ascutney, several nieces and nephews.
At her request there will be no formal services. The Knight Funeral Home in Windsor is entrusted with the arrangements.
