White River Jct., VT – Marcel H. LaRose, 70, died at home in White River Jct., on May 14, 2019.

He was born October 6, 1948 in St. Albans, VT a son of Arthur H. and Dorilla R. (Paquette) LaRose.  Marcel grew up and attended school in Swanton before beginning work at Ann's Bake Shop in St. Albans.  In 1970 he moved to White River Jct. to work at Ward Baking Company's Tip Top Bakery.  After they closed he worked at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH for 15 years retiring in 1996 due to illness.

Marcel was a longtime member of St. Anthony's Church in White River Jct.  After retiring he enjoyed travelling around the world including Greece, Turkey, Belgium, South America, the Caribbean, Canada, Mexico and Hawaii.

He was predeceased by his parents and is survived by his sister Giselle Fleury of White River Jct.; a niece Selena Maria Odetta Kramer (Theresa Fleury) of Texas; a nephew Julian Fleury of White River Jct., and a grand nephew Christopher Kramer as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visiting hours will be held Tuesday May 28 at the Knight Funeral Home in White River Junction from 5-7pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11am Wednesday at St. Anthony's Church in White River Jct., VT.  Burial will be at a later date in the Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
