Sharon, Vermont – Marc J. Wood, 66, of Sharon, died on Thursday, April 29, 2021, at his home. He was born on April 23, 1955, in Lebanon, New Hampshire to John and Regina (Bovat) Wood.

Marc was a brilliant man with a beautiful mind. He was a problem solver, a craftsman, and above all he was a family man. He loved his family more than anything. He made it his mission to ensure his children were self reliant, respectful,  and selfless. His family worked with him, learning construction, engineering, and how to overcome any obstacle. He was a caring man, dropping everything to help anyone in need. A provider and a protector. The world was not ready for you yet. We love you, Dad.

He is survived by his wife, Susan Wood of Kittery, Maine; three children, Zachary Wood and Katye Reed, Zeke Wood, and Dakota Wood and Luke Bellavance, all of Sharon; his mother Regina Wood of Fredericksburg, Virginia; eleven siblings, Michael Wood, Matthew Wood, Mitchell Wood, Marshall Wood, Martin Wood, Miles Wood, Montgomery Wood, Maureen E. Marcs, Michelle Hudson, Monica White, and Maria Wood; three grandchildren, Kya, Matthias, and Mason; other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father.
