White River Junction, VT – Marc John Remick, 65, died Saturday, April 2, 2023, at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH.

Marc was born on February 21, 1958, in Middlebury, VT, a son of William and Lucille (Albiser) Remick and graduated from Hartford High School in 1976. Marc proudly enlisted in the US Marine Corps. Following basic training, he skipped special school as he had already successfully completed Hartford High School's Food Service Culinary program, went straight to work as a cook, and developed a love of spending time in the kitchen. Following his discharge, Marc returned to Hartford, VT and continued to serve his community as a Hartford police officer and later with Dartmouth Security in Hanover, NH.

Marc had a passion for motorcycles and joined the newly developed team Twin States Harley Davidson in Lebanon, NH. With the knowledge gained from Twin States, Marc joined the staff at Lucky's Trailer Sales as a shipping and receiving clerk. This is where he worked until retiring in 2019.

Marc enjoyed cruising the internet on his computer. He absolutely loved cooking and would often find out what people's favorite foods were and prepare them unexpectedly for them. His neighbors lovingly called him the "Cheese Man" because they received every rendition of macaroni and cheese one could imagine from him over the years.

Marc is preceded in death by his father, William Remick, and a sister, Tracy Phelps.

He is survived by his mother, Lucille Remick of Hartford and nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews; friend, Jerry Terino of Enfield, NH and a close friend, Deb Campbell of Toronto, ON.

A memorial service will be held in the chapel at the Vermont Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Randolph Center, VT at 11AM on Monday, July 10 ^th , 2023.
