Weathersfield, VT- Madeline C. Napsey, 73, died Saturday, December 10, 2022 at Baystate Hospital in Springfield, MA.

Madeline was born July 6, 1949 in Claremont, NH a daughter of Eugene and Germaine (Couture) Desjardins. She grew up in Claremont and graduated from Stevens High School in 1968. Madeline worked for a time at Encore Shoe and later at Lacrosse Shoe where she was a sticher. Madeline made her career at Fujifilm Dimatix Company where she worked as a Technician before retiring.  Madeline was married to Douglas Napsey June 5, 1993 in Springfield, VT and made their home in Weathersfield VT.

She enjoyed painting, puzzles, crafting, gardening, cooking and baking. But her greatest joy came from spending time with family.

Madeline is survived by her husband Douglas Napsey; two daughters Ronda Storms and Michelle and Jamie Jasinski all of Weathersfield; a son Mitchell and Erika Napsey of Ascutney, VT; 3 grandchildren Christopher Heath, Stephanie Dumas, Brandin Napsey and Great grandchildren Paul, Benjamin, Gage, Xander, Ryal; a brother Eugene and Charlene Desjardins of Charlestown, NH and Yvette Farnsworth of Fullerton, CA.

A celebration of life will be Sunday, January 8th from 12-2pm at the Quechee Club 3268 Quechee Main St, Quechee, VT 05059. Knight Funeral Home in Windsor is assisting with arrangements. Condolences may be expressed to Madeline's family in an online guestbook at www.knightfuneralhomes.com .
