Madeline E. Kapise, 94, a long time resident of Hartland, VT passed away February 8, 2015 at Hanover Terrace Healthcare in Hanover, NH,
She was born May 27, 1920 in Lebanon, NH a daughter of Carroll and Dorothy Brooks. Madeline grew up and attended school in Hartford, VT. She was married to Francis Connolly on December 8, 1939 and they later divorced. She was married to John Kapise on December 1, 1956. Mrs. Kapise worked at Goodyear Rubber Company in Windsor, VT for many years before retiring.
She loved people and enjoyed walking the streets of Windsor, talking to anyone she met. She also enjoyed trips to Hampton Beach with her husband John. Most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her parents; three brothers, Donald, Roger and Vernol; three sisters, Barbara Howard, Helen Kilfeather and Hazel Stocker.
She is survived by her three sons Michael Connolly of Springfield, VT, Denny Connolly and his wife Jackie and Thomas Connolly and his wife Betty all of Windsor; Sisters Janice Lasure of Hartland, VT and Dee Brooks of Windsor as well as several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
At Madeline's request there will be no services at this time. Committal will be in the Mt. Olivet Cemetery in White River Jct., VT.
