Windsor, VT- Lucian L. "Luke" Lemery, III, 42, died Monday, February 12, 2024, at Cheshire Medical Center in Keene, NH.
Luke was born April 3, 1981, in Claremont, NH a son of Lucian and Kay (Plaster)Lemery. He grew up in Windsor and graduated from Windsor High School in 2000, a member of the Vermont State Football Champion Team. He was married to Katie Sebasky at Echo Lake, VT in 2014. They made their home in Windsor, where he worked as a cook at the Pizza Chef downtown. In 2022, Luke moved to St. Johnsbury and worked as a meat cutter at White's Market. He loved to interact with the clientele.
Luke was member of the Sons of the American Legion and a member of Windsor Elks Lodge BPOE #1665 both in Windsor. He was a talented billiards player and a pool shark. He enjoyed fishing and socializing with friends. Luke was a kind soul with a big heart, full of love and well-liked by all who met him.
Luke is predeceased by his father Lucian L Lemery, Jr. and his mother Kay Lee Lepisko. He is survived by his wife Katie Lemery of North Clarendon, VT; a sister Danielle M. Lemery-Kenney and her partner Chad Traverse of Grafton, NH; stepmother Nancy Lemery of Windsor; a stepbrother Erik Marrow of Bradford, VT; a stepsister, Erin Marrow of Maryland. His father and mother-in-law, J. Robert, and Susan F. Sebasky; two uncles Jeff and his wife Lyn Ladue and William Plaster of Bellows Falls, VT; four aunts Mary and her husband Guy Roberts of Windsor, Tammie Scaling of Hillsboro, NH aunt Robin Scully and aunt Linda and husband Roger Witcomb both of Windsor; brother in law, Chris Sebasky of Tenn; and many cousins.
A celebration of Luke's life will be held Saturday, April 6, 2024, from 1-4pm at the American Legion Hall in Windsor, VT. Knight Funeral Home in Windsor assisted with arrangements. Condolences may be expressed to Luke's family in an online guestbook at www.knightfuneralhomes.com .
