IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Loy Ann
Nolet
June 13, 1937 – November 8, 2021
Loy Ann Nolet, 84, of Wilder, Vermont passed away on Monday, November 8, 2021. She was born on June 13, 1937, in Lebanon, New Hampshire to Frank and Julie (Gordon) Broughton and was married to Stanley Nolet on October 12, 1957, in West Lebanon.
Loy Ann was a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend who loved to have fun and enjoy life. When her grandchildren were young, she showed them how to make applesauce, took them camping, and was the life of the party at family get togethers. She expressed herself through her jewelry choices, bright red lipstick, and her carefully manicured nails, making sure to subtly (or not so subtly) tap her nails to remind her family of a recent manicure! She was an avid bingo and cribbage player, was active in the Class of '55 Old West Lebanon Alumni group and was a lifetime member of the American Legion Auxiliary.
She is survived by four children, Debra Lowery and partner Andrew Willis of Wilder, Duane Nolet and wife Denise of Charlotte Hall, Maryland, Douglas Nolet (Meg Carlton) of Hartland, and Darren Nolet (Gina Pero) of Hartland; two siblings, Kenneth Broughton of Wilder and Beverly Lique and husband Bert of West Lebanon; one sister-in-law, Gail Broughton of West Lebanon; five grandchildren, Vicky Danieli and husband Eric, Nikki Paquette and husband Justin, Demi Nolet, Deanna Nolet, and Samantha Nolet; two great grandchildren, Kaya and Noah; her beloved Pomeranian, Lassie; other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brother William Broughton.
