Loraine E. Jeffords

Wilder, Vermont- Loraine E. Jeffords, 72, died Thursday February 18, 2010 at Brookside Nursing Home in White River Jct., V T Mrs. Jeffords was born March 8, 1937 in Northfield, VT the daughter of Roland and Josephine(Johnson) Jarvis. She attended the Northfield Schools and graduated from Northfield High School.
She worked for a time at Nadin's Stocking Co. She was married to Gerald "Jeff" Jeffords August 22, 1959 in Northfield, VT They moved to Wilder in 1975. She then worked cleaning houses in Norwich.

Mrs. Jeffords was a parishioner at St. Anthony's Church in White River Jct., VT.

Mrs. Jeffords enjoyed knitting, yard sales, flower gardening, and cooking.

Mrs. Jeffords is survived by her husband Jeff of Wilder; a son, Andrew Jeffords both of Wilder; two daughters, Ann Jeffords of Dunellen, FL and Andrea Cody of Wilder; three granddaughters, Naomi Gero, Amber Horne, and Cara Tomlinson; a great-grandson William Schmieder; a brother Edward Jarvis of Clarksville, TN; and a sister Joanne Abbey of Northfield, VT.

Friends may call Monday, February 22, 2010 at the Knight Funeral Home in White River Jct., VT from 6-8PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated Tuesday at St. Anthony's Church in White River Jct., VT at 10AM. Burial in the Mt. Olivet Cemetery in White River Jct.
