Lisa Cora Vezina, 56, a longtime resident of Windsor, passed away peacefully after a long illness Monday evening, November 21 at the Mt. Ascutney Hospital in Windsor, surrounded by her family.

She was born April 15, 1960 in Windsor the daughter of Stewart H. and Patricia (Pierce) Barrows. She received her schooling in Windsor and graduated from Windsor High School in 1978. She married Gary Vezina in Windsor on April 19th 1980 and they were later divorced. Lisa was employed as a telephone operator at the former New England Telephone Company in White River Jct. for several years. She attended St. Francis of Assisi Church in Windsor. When Lisa was younger she enjoyed skiing at local mountains. Lisa adored her children, she was very proud of her son for being a Claremont Fire Fighter & she enjoyed visiting the Dartmouth College Greenhouse with her daughter. Lisa enjoyed cooking & baking for her family & friends. She especially enjoyed spending time with her mother. Lisa was very kind & quick with a smile. She loved helping others anyway she could. More recently she enjoyed stuffing & sewing the cloth hearts at Mt. Ascutney Hospital.

She was predeceased by her father in 2016, and by one brother, Timothy Barrows in 1959.

Survivors include her mother, Patricia Barrows of Windsor, one son, Timothy Vezina and his wife, Paige of Claremont, NH, one daughter, Elizabeth Vezina of Windsor, one brother, Jeffrey Barrows of Windsor, one sister, Deborah Cameron and her husband, Barry of The Villages, FL, her former husband, Gary Vezina of Windsor and an uncle, several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

At her request there will be no formal services. Memorial contributions may be made to the Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center at 289 County Road, Windsor, VT 05089.
