IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Lisa M.
Soho
January 22, 1958 – August 30, 2025
Windsor, VT – Lisa M. Soho, 67, passed away on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at the Jack Byrne Center for Palliative and Hospice Care at Dartmouth Health in Lebanon, NH surrounded by family.
Lisa was born on January 22, 1958, in Pittsburgh, PA, a daughter of John and Jean (Bortle) Soho. She graduated from Fairfax High School in Fairfax, VA, with the Class of 1976, and went on to study at Radford College in Radford, VA. Lisa worked in Residential Mortgage Lending with various banks in Northern Virginia, until retiring in 2010 due to medical concerns. Following her retirement, Lisa relocated to Windsor to be closer to family.
A twenty-year cancer survivor, Lisa faced her health challenges with strength and grace, never allowing them to diminish her positive spirit. She loved to travel—by air, road, or ship—visiting Europe, the Caribbean, and much of the United States. Lisa enjoyed spending time at the beach, especially Wells Beach, ME. She was a talented and competitive card player, and she delighted in celebrating the holidays, often decorating her home elaborately and encouraging her siblings to do the same. A devoted cat lover, she always had one as a companion. Lisa enjoyed watching NFL football. Her two favorite teams were the New England Patriots and the Washington Commanders. Above all, Lisa cherished time spent with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents and by her sister, Patricia Soho. She is survived by two brothers, Gregory Soho (Sandy) of Windsor and David Soho (Adair) of Waterford, VA, along with her nieces Katie and Annie and her nephews Darrell, Jacob, and John Henry.
An open house in celebration of Lisa's life will be held Tuesday September 9, 2025 from 2 pm to 4 pm in the Fellowship Hall at Old South Church in Windsor, VT. Knight Funeral Home in Windsor is assisting with arrangements. Condolences may be shared with Lisa's family in an online guestbook at www.knightfuneralhome.com. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Lucy Mackenzie Humane Society.
