Lisa Maxfield-Lovell
Quechee, VT: Lisa was diagnosed with a rare type of cancer in the Fall of 2011 and died December 20, 2013 at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH . She was the longtime companion and wife of David Lovell, and her dog "JJ." Lisa is survived by her two Sons, Christian Ford and his wife, Mary of South Strafford, VT, Rohn Ford and his wife, Holly of Shelburne, VT, and her stepdaughter Sandy Kempton and her husband Chuck and two children of Quechee, VT, and the parents of Dave, Clair and Joyce Lovell of Quechee, VT.

She was born in Rochester, NH on August 12, 1952. She was the only daughter of Hervey and Geraldine Maxfield. She attended St. Mary's Grammar School and graduated from Spaulding High School Class of 1970. After High School graduation, she attended Houle's Beauty Academy in Manchester, NH. In 1999 she attended Community College of Vermont where she graduated in 2004 with an Associate Degree in Liberal Studies. She graduated in 2006 from Lebanon College with a Photography Certificate. Since then, she has taken many online classes in graphic design, literature and has continued her photography studies. Lisa considered herself a lifetime learner.

She enjoyed reading, photography, bowling, and quilting. She also enjoyed cookouts, camping and the
Loudon NASCAR races with her husband Dave, her two sons and their wives, and many of their friends.
She truly enjoyed making and photographing memories with her family and their dogs.

Lisa moved to Vermont in 1971 from Manchester, NH. While in Vermont she resided in the small towns of South Stratford, North Thetford and Fairlee. She moved with Dave to Quechee in 1997. Lisa worked in area restaurants including Brooksies in Sharon, VT and Leda's Pizza in Fairlee, VT. Lisa began her working career at Dartmouth College in August 1980. She worked at BakerBerry Library until 1981 and then transferred to Feldberg Library where she worked for thirty-one years.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the charity of ones personal choice.

Per Lisa's wishes, there will be no visitations or services. In the coming spring , a private family graveside service will be held at Riverside Cemetery in Woodstock, VT. Condolences may be expressed to Lisa's family in an online guestbook at www.knightfuneralhomes.com. Knight Funeral Home in White River Junction has been entrusted with arrangements.
