Wilder, VT - Linda Bell Tassinari, 73, passed away Saturday January 24 at the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH, after a bout with cancer.
She was born November 1, 1941 in Brattleboro, VT a daughter of Dwight and Amy Elizabeth (Wright) Bell. In 1959 she graduated from Brattleboro High School and was married to Larry Tassinari.
They later moved to the Upper Valley where they raised their two sons. For a time Linda owned and operated Mari's Closet in West Lebanon and worked as a bookkeeper with her husband at P.S.I. and Britly Corp. Most recently she enjoyed working with her sons at Moto Tassinari Inc. in West Lebanon.
Linda enjoyed collecting dolls, was an excellent seamstress, spent numerous hours knitting, and cooking. But one of her favorite activities was cheering on her boys while they were racing Motocross.
She is predeceased by a sister Jean Gorsuch and two brothers Malcolm and Francis Bell.
Linda is survived by her husband of 55 years Larry of Wilder, two sons Steve and his wife Jill of Meriden, NH and Scott and his wife Tammy of Norwich, VT and a sister Betty Rancourt and her husband Jack of W. Chesterfield, NH, and three grandchildren, Brittany, Emily and Anna.
