Linda J. Small, 53, died Sunday, February 3, 2013 at Mt. Ascutney Hospital in Windsor, VT, surrounded by her family.
She was born January 25, 1960 in Randolph, VT a daughter of Jerry and Cynthia (Thompson) Jaycox. She graduated from Woodstock High School class of 1978. Linda went to work as a Licensed Practical Nurse in several establishments around the Upper Valley. She was later married to Peter Small June 7, 1986 in Hartland, VT. This is where they called home. She stayed home and raised her family and kept the books for the family business Small Property Maintenance.
Linda loved beautiful flower gardens and would spend hours keeping them that way. She had a passion for animals especially cats and dogs.
She is survived by her husband, Pete Small of Hartland, Two sons Kyle Small of West Hartford, VT, and Cody Small and his wife Samantha of Hartland; her parents, Jerry and Cynthia Jaycox of Jefferson City, TN; a brother Bruce Jaycox and a sister Debbie Davis both of Hartland.
A visitation will be held Friday, February 8 from 6-8PM at the Knight Funeral Home in White River Junction, VT. Funeral services will be held Saturday at the First Congregational Church of Hartland at 10AM.
