Linda S. Langlois

White River Jct., VT – Linda S. Langlois, 67, died Thursday December 8th at home surrounded by her family.

She was born May 31, 1944 in Morrisville, VT a daughter of Allison and Pearl (Tomlinson) Spaulding. Linda was married to David W. Langlois March 4, 1962 in Wilder. Dave and Linda were classmates graduating from Hartford High School class of 1962. After high school she worked as a waitress at the restaurant at Grant's Department Store in West Lebanon and continued there after it changed hands and became J.C. Penney. In 1986 she joined Dave at their family business, K&L Color Graphics in White River Jct., where she continued to work until retiring due to poor health.

Linda was a member of the Greater Hartford United Church of Christ and a past member of the Wilder Congregational Church and was a former Sunday School teacher at both. When her daughters were younger she was a Girl Scout Leader in the Swiftwater Council also in White River Jct.

She was a passionate gardener who loved spending time in her flower gardens and was also an excellent cook who especially enjoyed baking pies.

She is predeceased by a brother Gary Spaulding in 2009.

Linda leaves her husband, Dave, of White River Jct.; two daughters Kathy L. Lowell and her husband Charles of Sharon, VT and Tammy Langlois of Wilder, VT; five granddaughters Tara Symancyk, Stacey and Katelyn Lowell, and Ashley and Amanda Murphy; a sister Dianne Young and her husband Jim of Greenville, NC; a brother Skip Spaulding and his wife Sarah of White River Jct.; a sister-in-law Joan Spaulding of Hartland and several nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be held at the Knight Funeral Home in White River Jct. Sunday, December 11th, from 4-6PM. A memorial service will be held at the Greater Hartford United Church of Christ in Hartford on Monday, December 12th, at 11AM. A private burial service will be held in the Hartford Cemetery.
