Fairlee, VT – Linda J. Gray, 65, died Saturday March 23, 2019 at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH.

She was born September 23, 1953 in Lebanon, NH a daughter of Richard and Anne (Grenon) Jenks.  Linda graduated from Orford High School Class of 1971 and was married to Edmund Gray, September 4, 1971.  They made their home in Lyme where they raised their three children.  When her children were young she worked from home, providing daycare for other families.  After her children were older she worked at Dartmouth Printing in Hanover for many years.  More recently she worked as cashier at Dollar General in Fairlee and Wings Market in Thetford.

Linda loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was very proud of all them and enjoyed being around them. She loved taking her family hunting and fishing.  She also enjoyed crafting, particularly knitting and crocheting.  She would spend hours doing her crafts  and she enjoyed giving them to family. Her greatest love was her Chihuahua Cheyenne.  She was hardly ever seen without her.

She was predeceased by her husband, Edmund and a son Michael.

She leaves her children Edmund Gray Jr. of Orford, NH and Beth-Anne Searles of White River Jct., VT; six grandchildren Tyler, Trevor, Brianna, Joshua, Paige and Tristan; a brother Richard Jenks and partner Kim Knight of East Thetford, VT and Patricia Jenks and husband Greg of Lyme, NH.

Visiting hours will be held Saturday, March 30th from 4-6pm at the Knight Funeral Home in White River Junction immediately followed by funeral services at the funeral home. A private interment service will be held in the Highland Cemetery in Lyme, NH at a later date.
