White River Jct., VT- Linda Marie Gallo, 76, died April 24, 2025, at Rutland Regional Medical Center.

Born on March 16, 1949, in Hanover, NH, Linda was the daughter of the late Ralph and Marjorie (Jorgensen) Gallo. She grew up locally and was a proud graduate of Hartford High School. Linda went on to dedicate much of her life to public service, working as the assistant to the town treasurer for 30 years until her retirement in 2015.

Linda had a rich life outside of work, surrounded by a small circle of family and friends that meant the world to her. She had a great love of music and in her younger years would often travel up and down the East Coast to attend concerts with friends. Retired summers were cherished at the cabins on Lake Willoughby, where she made countless memories with her best friend, Brenda. A lifelong reader, Linda found joy in books.

She was predeceased by her parents, and her infant sister, Patti Lee Gallo.

She is survived by her brother, Ralph 'Skip' Gallo, Jr. and his wife Tracy of White River, nieces, Patti Bray and Michelle Miller, and twin nephews, Bentley and Ethan Gallo. She was also blessed with a Grand Niece and Grand Nephews, Lincoln, Leo, Charlotte and Chayce.

A graveside service will be held at 2pm on Friday, May 9, 2025, in the Mt. Olivet Cemetery in White River Junction, VT.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Linda's memory may be made to the Bugbee Senior Center at 262 North Main Street, White River Jct., VT 05001.
