Wilder, VT – Leatrice "Lee" Roberts, 88, died Late Thursday night, November 22, 2018 at the Cedar Hill Health Care Center in Windsor, VT. She was born January 21, 1930 in Cabot, VT the daughter of Leon and Beatrice (Lance) Perry.
Lee grew up in Cabot and graduated from Lyndon State College in 1954 with her teaching degree, later that year she married Gordon Roberts at her parents home in Cabot. They moved to Windsor, VT where they both taught school for a time before going to work in the Hartford Schools where she retired from in 1992. Following the death of her husband in 1965, Lee moved to Wilder, VT. She wintered in Sebring Florida for 20 years.
Lee was a member of the Greater United Church of Hartford in Hartford Village. During her retirement years Lee worked on her golf game, loved to travel and go on cruises.
She was predeceased by her husband, Gordon, four brothers, Wendell Perry, Robert Perry, Willon Perry, Walter Perry, sister, Roberta Bothfield.
Lee is survived by her two daughters, Barbara Middleton of White River Jct., VT, Linda Beloin and of Windsor, VT, five grandchildren; a great-grandchild and another on the way and many nieces and nephews.
A private graveside service will be held at a later date in the Craftsbury Cemetery in Craftsbury, VT. A celebration of her life will be announced at a later date
