Hartland, VT - Lauren Evan Perry, 76, passed away in his home June 25th 2014.

He was born May 10th 1937 to Russ Perry & Helen (Crandall) Perry on his family's farm in Hartland. Lauren lived his entire life in Hartland, except for his time in the Army, where he was stationed in Germany. Lauren married Hartland resident Zilpha (Rumrill) Perry on April 6, 1963. Lauren worked for several local companies as a carpenter, equipment operator, diesel mechanic and truck driver, he most recently retired from RSD transportation.

Lauren enjoyed his home projects. From building sheds to growing a garden, cutting wood, sugaring, restoring antique tractors, he was always busy doing something.

Lauren is survived by his wife Zilpha, his daughter Lori (Perry) Allen of Hartland, granddaughter Shannon (Allen) Hart, of Windsor, his sister Alberta Bacon of Windsor, his brother Kimball Perry of West Windsor, several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents and his ½ brother Henry Perry.

A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date.
