Sharon, VT – Kristopher Leon Lewis, 41, died Monday night, April 25, 2022, at his home in Sharon of an apparent heart attack. Kris was born July 13, 1980, the first born of Kevin L. Lewis and Cynthia Kasper Lewis in Yokosuka, Japan where his father was stationed with the US Navy. He attended schools in several different locations graduating from Woodstock High School in Woodstock, VT in 1998. An excellent student and extremely intelligent, Kris was accepted at Fordham University, and later went on to further his education at Southern New Hampshire University completing his Bachelor's degree in creative writing in May 2016. He supported his family as a Customer Service Representative for Misys Manufacturing in Woodstock, VT.

In May of 2016, Kris met the love of his life, Christine Taylor. They were engaged to be married this coming October. They loved retro video games, movies, and working on creative projects together. The center of his universe and Kris' favorite person was always his daughter Fiona, and they loved playing games together, laughing constantly, and cooking together. He was an incredibly patient and loving father. His heart belonged to the ocean and his family, and his annual fishing trips with his father were his favorite days.

Kris was a nerd, a clown, a troll and one of the most easy going, lovable people one could ever meet. He was funny, smart, creative and fun! He was also an incredible cook as well and a published author. Kris was most importantly an amazing father, beloved son and the best partner anyone could ever ask for.

He is survived by his fiancée and life partner, Christine Taylor, his daughter, Fiona A. Lewis both of Sharon, VT, his father and not-mom,  Kevin and Teresa Lewis of White River Jct., VT, his mother, Cynthia Kasper, of Windsor, VT, a sister and brother-in-law, Katrina and Justin Kennedy and their son, Aedan of West Bridgewater, VT , a grandmother, Martha Casper of Jupiter, FL, as well as uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.

Following cremation, a life celebration will be held at a later date.
