Manchester, NH – Kevin J. LaPlaca, 64, of Manchester, NH died at home on Monday, December 16, 2024. He was born in Glen Falls, NY on August 13, 1960, to Joseph J., Jr. and Lorraine M. (Gordon) LaPlaca and spent his younger years living in Rutland, VT. While in grade school, Kevin's family bought a home in White River Junction, VT and he finished his education in the Hartford School District.

Kevin spent his working years in the construction business, working primarily as a mechanical insulator. He was an avid sports fan who enjoyed watching wrestling, football, baseball, and basketball cheering on his favorite New England teams.

His greatest love however was for his family. When his sons were younger, he coached their t-ball and little league teams, refereed their soccer games, and was a boy scout leader.

Kevin was predeceased by his parents and a half brother John Giroux.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years Helen LaPlaca (Smith) of Manchester; two sons Corey LaPlaca of Manchester and Kevin LaPlaca of White River Junction, VT; two sisters Cheryl LaPlaca and Lorraine LaPlaca, both of Lebanon, NH; one brother Joseph LaPlaca and wife Susan of Sharon, VT; two grandsons Elyas Jenkins and Owen Reagan; numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Services for Kevin will be private, including a burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
