West Hartford, VT- Kevin "KC" Charles Grant, Jr., died unexpectedly, Saturday, July 30, 2022, in West Hartford, VT.

Kevin was born July 12, 1976, in Lebanon, NH. A son of Kevin and Lucinda (Willey) Grant. He grew up in Hartford and attended Oxbow and Hartford High School. Kevin went to work doing odd jobs and working as a handyman, doing whatever he could to help make ends meet. He was married to Miranda Sanders in 1995; they lived in Windsor and later divorced. In 2003, he was married to Charity Moody; they lived in Newbury until they separated. In 2011, he met his partner Mary Branch, and they have been together since.

Kevin was an avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hiking, fishing, and camping. He also had a great love for music; Megadeth and Metallica were a couple of his favorites. He'd often send music videos to his friends and family trying to communicate the best way he knew how, through his favorite songs. He was a devoted Washington Redskins fan and looked forward to their faceoff with the Packers, Mary's favorite team. Kevin loved socializing and spending time with family and friends.

He is survived by his four children, Keegan Grant and his wife, Melissa of Northfield, VT; Lindsay Tabor, her husband, Jon and their children, Amsden and Harrison Tabor of West Topsham, VT; Kiya and Isabel Grant of Thetford Center, VT; his father, Kevin C. Grant, Sr. and his wife, Paula of Newbury, VT; his mother, Lucy Baker and husband, Louis of Sharon, VT; nine siblings, Mark Locke of North Haverhill, NH, Jonathan Welch of Bethel, VT, Brandy Gault of Claremont, NH, Stephanie Grant of Windsor, VT, Jeremy Grant of Lebanon, NH, Josh Grant of Newbury, VT, Ashley Hart of Newbury, VT, Natasha Spooner of Bradford, VT, Destiny Grant of Newbury, VT and numerous nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Kevin's life will be held at a later date. Knight Funeral Home in White River Junction has been entrusted with arrangements. Condolences may be expressed in an online guestbook at www.knightfuneralhomes.com .
