Hartford, VT- Kevin L. Barbour, 61, died April 22, 2018 at Genesis Elm Wood Center, Claremont, NH.

He was born July 28, 1956 in Lebanon, NH a son of Lloyd and Evelyn (Tewsksbury) Barbour.  Kevin graduated from Hartford High School Class of 1974 and shortly after started work at the P&C/Cross Abbott grocery warehouse in Hartford.  He was married to Patricia F. Kingsbury June 22, 1985 and they made their home in Hartford.  After the warehouse closed, Kevin worked for Groundskeepers landscaping while learning the plumbing trade.  He was employed by several local plumbing contractors until his illness no longer allowed him too work.

He enjoyed camping and loved spending time with his family, particularly their annual tenting trips to Lake George. Kevin was an avid outdoorsman who especially enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a member of the Hartland Fish and Game Club. He also enjoyed listening to music including classic rock, country and blues and attended several concerts with family and friends. When the weather permitted you could find him playing golf with his buddies every Thursday at the Montague Country Club in Randolph, VT

He was predeceased by his parents; a brother Robert and a nephew.

He leaves his wife Patricia of Hartford, son David Follensbee and his wife Jenn of White River Jct.; daughter Amie Follensbee and her partner, Paul Potwin of Hartland; two grandsons Rhett and Ryan; a brother William Barbour; sister Nancy LaBelle both of Quechee, VT and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Knight Funeral Home in White River Jct., VT Friday April 27, 2018 from 6-8PM.  A funeral service will be held Saturday April 28 ^th at 10AM at the funeral home with burial following in the Hartland Village Cemetery.
